Agree. There are some great nurses out there and very smart and efficient. They are the ones the doctors rely on to be their eyes and ears. Nurses are with their patients for 12 hrs. Drs are in and out once a day. In the hospital anyways.
It is my understanding that the ama retracted its statement and emphasizes its policy,that it’s is up to the physician to decide what to prescribe for treatment that includes off label use. They are emphasizing the autonomy of the physician to make treatment plans based on their clinical judgement.

Yes. There are different types of UV rays. The ones used to kill TB are usually placed up high and don’t really reach people’s skin to penetrate and cause cancer. But if it did big pharma wins on that front too. Cancer is an expensive disease.

FYI: Tuberculosis airborne particles are killed in the sun light and by UV light. When you go to offices and stores you will notice UV lights by the entrances that’s something that’s been done for many years and due to tuberculosis. It’s not new science like the article would like the reader to believe.
Just a little tid bit of info ... when a TB patient has to be transported in the hospital for example to get a CT scan the infected patient is the one that wears a mask (paper) while transporting through the halls. Anyone who enters their room has to wear an N95 ( only in the room). Also when the TB infected person is outside they don’t need a mask.. the UV sun light kills the particle in the air. When you go to stores and offices you will notice the UV lights on the walls at the entrances ... it kills the infected particles in the air!
