A study back in 2005 shows hydroxychloroquine a potent inhibitor of SARS-CoV. BACK IN 2005! The study mentions hydroxychloquine blocks the coronavirus from attaching to cell's ACE2 receptors, same as covid-19. It's important to note that Fauci had worked for NIH back in 05. Why was this study never talked about among academia, more importantly how come Fauci never mentions this study?

Since studies takes time (months, years), and based on Fauci's expertise and his position that it will take months until studies shows what drugs are effective against covid-19, why then, today Fauci announced that remdesivir, a patented drug, shows promise? Isn't it too early for Fauci to say that? He didn't do the same for the cheap generic drug, hydroxychloroquine. As he said, hydroxychloquine is 'anecdotal' at best.

Who worked for NIH? Dr. Fauci. He knew since 2005.
