I don't think that is always a great metric. Dan Crenshaw gave his eye serving Democracy, then proceeded to support 2A violations and red flag laws, send your tax dollars overseas while giving you pennies, and turning on Trump.

The second she does, Republicans will all side with the Dems and say "Yeah, it was awful when the Dems did it to Trump, and we don't like it, so we won't do it to them. Let's all just get along and heal this country."

The Right always loses because we follow the Golden Rule. The Left just follows Alinsky's rules, and holds us to our rules and standards, while theirs are ever changing.

You know I'm right.

Fuck that, there are still plenty of line toeing GOP shills, they just sit back and try to not doing anything TOO ovett and constroversial so that they can continue to break their promises and do the bare minimum to appease the peasantry and stay in power.

No. It won't be their last term. My conservative friends and family have been livid about everything going on, and when I tell them to unregister as Republican or to stop voting for our Congressman, they defend him tooth and nail and attack me.

The "Right" will continue voting for the same people that fuck them over and over because all forms of mainstream media tell them they have to. Hannity, Tucker, Shapiro, Klavan... even the COnservative media tells them to vote straight ticket.

Honestly, I don't think there will be a meaningful drop. My friends and family are livid about the theft of the election, but they have refused to cancel Disney+, Netflix, Amazon, etc, and they can't be bothered to register Independent and leave the Republican Party.

I think Conservatives are slothful and lazy and will only put in minimal effort to seek out and use alternate platforms and tech.

I just want a phone that can use Brave browser and lets me make and receive calls and send and receive texts. That's it. That's all I care about. A GPS functionality would be great as well, but even in my 30s I know how to read a physical map.

I have been in the process of divesting entirely from big tech services. Canceling Amazon, already off Facebook, never used Twitter really, but I use things like Discord and WhatsApp to talk with Euro friends, and I've had gmail forever. Bought a two year service for Protonmail, telling my friends to contact me using that... but I still have an Android phone...

I was just thinking today "How the hell do I get away from Google or Apple and still remain employable in modern society?"

I would get a Gab phone.

Imagine 70%+ of the GOP members leaving in the span of a week or so. Trump would know we are still there for him, and worst case, yeah, it gives someone the impetus to start a real, conservative third party option.

Magus_Strife 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree. I voted Libertarian in 2012 and left the GOP because Romney was the worst candidate I'd ever seen. I was Independent for years and finally reregistered GOP in 2016 so I could vote for Trump in the primaries. Voted GOP this time because Trump asked me to. The Libertarian party is trash and just cares about being hip and cool and legalizing weed, but they are better than the GOP.

I hate this as well, but it's just the logical conclusion of everything we have seen in recent history, as well as the history of the last 100 years. If you've read the Gulag Archipelago, you'll recognize the signs of a Communist state takeover, and you'll know what the outcome will be if they are successful. We are in for dark times, and for better or worse, the only real hope I see left is the Insurrection Act... and I think that would have been used already if it was viable. I'd love very much to be wrong.

Magus_Strife 12 points ago +12 / -0

I'm sure I will, but at the same time, the globalists no that. It's why they have ramped up their efforts to the point of making them blatant. We will NEVER be as strong and well-armed as we are right now. Our politicians and law enforcement will sweep everything under the rug and destroy all evidence of their wrong-doing. They won't fix our broken election system, because fixing it means acknowledging that Trump was correct, and there was fraud.

In the next year or two, the Dems will pack the courts, grant citizenship to 20+ million illegals, import millions of third world (mostly Muslim) "refugees", and add Puerto Rico and DC as Dem stronghold states. We will never win another election.

I'll go ever further... the marriage rates for native US citizens will continue to drop as men "go their own way" and realize that modern women are next to worthless for traditional marriage. For the marriages that do happen, fewer and fewer children will be born into stable families because it will be too expensive, and all the new socialist taxes and policies will make busting your ass to own a business or move up in the world all but impossible. Women will have more children out of wedlock and petition mommy government to take more money from MGTOW type men to pay for them. That, and with the declining birth rates, just like is happening in Europe now, the government will announce that they "have to bring in more immigrant labor to compensate for the lack of manpower."

tl;dr - We will never win an election again if Trump doesn't invoke the Insurrection Act this time, and we won't have an American culture in the next few decades.

That's fair, but the Right NEEDS leadership and people to rally behind. If Trump has failed us, then a huge chunk of the Right is going to check out from politics, which is where I am at. It's all just theater, and we keep losing when we trust in any number of people. Our talking heads throw us under the bus at the slightest fault, and even when we are ride or die for someone like we have been for Trump and Pence, it just seems like they let us down.

The Republicans will ALWAYS do JUST enough to appear like they are fighting, all while losing. Real fighters like Jim Jordan are relegated to unimportant positions while smooth talking, presentable sociopaths like McCarthy and McConnell rise to the top.

I agree with you on one hand, but it's not fair to say or imply that Trump was just a symbol. He was the symbol because we no longer trusted anyone on the "Right" to actually follow through on their promises or care about us. Trump was it, and today feels like a betrayal. Trump has listened to his "advisors" over the people that were fighting for him and suffering, and they have led him in the wrong direction at every turn. They wouldn't want someone to call Trump a dictator or Hitler for something he did... gotta follow the rules that only we are required to follow.

If Trump doesn't pull through for us, he'll be seen as a betrayer to enough of the Right that the GOP and anyone new will never gain any great amount of support. We will be divided on the Right, like the Libertarians are divided.

I don't care if people call me a Doomer. I'm demoralized. Completely. I see no point in engaging politically ever again, and I see no point in any kind of armed rebellion either, because the Right is pussified and doesn't have the stones or the organization for it. Today seems to have proven all of that. The second we have "bad optics", our side grovels for forgiveness and faints on couches.

The 2A is pointless, because we're afraid to use it, even if it is to defend our Rights from law enforcement or government agencies unconstitutionally and illegally trying to take them away.

People here in Kern are FUCKING livid with him after his votes on the porkulus bill. Not enough of them to unseat him (because he does things like this, just the bare minimum to appear a fighter), but definitely enough are angry that he's taken notice.

They don't give a single fuck. I'm in McCarthy's district. I have been screaming for years that he is a RINO piece of shit traitor, and everyone has always said "I disagree, and besides, he's good on veterans issues."

Now, after this vote, I figured people would finally stop defending him. Was talking to some very outraged conservatives this week... and they STILL FUCKING DEFEND HIM!!! He's still "our guy" they say. "There's got to be a reason he voted for it."

It doesn't matter what they do, they will stay in power, so they don't... give... a... fuck...

Magus_Strife 1 point ago +1 / -0

Stop wasting your breath. These people can't be convinced, and we're passed the talking.

I don't know if you or your sister are white, but if so, how the fuck can your sister date someone that will hate her and her family, or if he's white, how can she date someone that hates himself?

The only person you have any hope of convincing or potential duty to do so is your sister. She needs to dump his ass.

Just enough so that you all forget how they fucked you and this country for all the "stimulus" and spending bills, but not enough to actually do anything.

2
Magus_Strife 2 points ago +2 / -0

They have already proven that they are worthless at best, if not outright traitors. I voted for McCarthy after years of convincing people to not vote for him, all because Trump asked us to. Never again.

This isn't true. Kwanzaa was created by a white, Communist moron professor from CSU Long Beach. Imagine Sean King, but even more obviously white, and he created a bullshit holiday "free black people" from the "evils" of Christmas. It came out later that he was a sadist and brutalized women. He was and still is a hero to the Left and blacks.
