I went to Sam’s club today; it is the bi-weekly run. I never, NEVER wear a mask in there. No one has given me a problem, people at the door ask if I want one, I reply politely, I don’t wear a mask, I can’t. They say OK, and I move on. Same at our local Walmart.

I am in there about 45 minutes when an older guy in a mask approaches me: OG: Excuse me, does anyone bother you for not wearing a mask? Me: [Thinking, Oh Shit, here we go, and remembering that my extra mags are in the car..] Nope, I can’t wear one, they ask me and I politely decline. OG: You can’t get in trouble? Me: Nope, there is nothing they can do. OG: Rips his mask off, says,” Screw this shit then, I have had a stroke before and I can’t breathe at all normally” Me: Buddy, if anyone gives you trouble, come find me, I will help. Do not wear a mask at all anywhere if you have that medical issue.

We shook hands and he was truly grateful for a “friendly face” in there.
