She looks a little like someone who is allergic to bees but lives in a beehive.

Also, maybe she has something against peanuts and thought Trump was talking about George Washington Carver? Surely no one is dumb enough that they'd consider the OG George Washington a traitor, right?

Yep, exactly. Not everyone understands everything he says, and so saying it over and over in different ways is the most effective way to get through to all readers.

But the origin of the word isn't ugly at all. The word was invented by a native American as a way to differentiate between his people and the white people they had begun interacting with. It was most commonly used in exactly that way for a long time afterward.

No debate that it's been used as a slir, but that usage died out long ago and the team wasn't given the name with the intent to offend. It's only recently that offense has been taken to the name, which is sad... The negative connotations had been removed and the word was commonly understood to mean the football team in Washington.

Walter Wetzel, a former Blackfeet tribal chairman and National Congress American Indian President, urged the Redskins in 1971 to change their logo from the burgundy and gold "R'" to the image it still has today. The image depicted on the Redskins helmet is of John "Two Guns" Whitecalf, a Blackfeet Chief whose likeness also appeared on the Buffalo nickel, minted from 1913-38.

Hahaha I caught that too. Guessing it's something from the local law enforcement fleet - the Durango just isn't Trumps style

I jumped on a live stream at 7:00 and expected that they'd have the road opened back up by 7:30. Shoulda been quick and simple... Push the crowd back, drag the vans out of the way, and arrest anyone still blocking the road.

It'd almost 9:00 now and they're still just standing around. Embarrassing lack of leadership from law enforcement on the ground there.

In his post, he says there aren't enough black people because the white rules of baseball discourage players from celebrating home runs.

He also complains about a lack of funding for youth baseball programs but doesn't commit any of his millions up support them.

Damn, we'd better cancel gravity.

If only that poor fellow who got smashed by the Jefferson Davis statue had just waited a week, the damn thing would have just floated up like a balloon.

They turn delivery drivers away at gunpoint in a largely peaceful way.

It's very confusing, isn't it? Just last week I stayed silent for 3 hours in a row and when I looked outside, there were at least 17 people who had been horribly injured, presumably by my silence.

I didn't know I was being so violent by doing absolutely nothing, but now I know better.

The return of the smirk!

Tune in to find out if CNN picks this story up and eventually pays out a 6 figure settlement again.

And BLM DC is mad about it because, in their words, "this is to appease white liberals while ignoring our demands. Black Lives Matter means defund the police"

Too funny.

Yep, the guy who runs that section of the site does great research into military vehicles and happenings but is very anti Trump. Content was much better before Dr. Geotus was elected, as everything since has the bitter tinge of TDS baked in.

No way to argue with the "white silence = violence" slogan.

How many people have you put in the hospital with your silence? I must be up to 53 by now, but it's tough to tell for sure since there are others around me being silent.

Please please please do it! Make sure to announce it well in advance so that all sane people have a chance to flee. Decimate the tax base of your city, and then find out what happens when no one is around to enforce the law except for a govt Karen showing up in her prius covered in BLM stickers, begging you to only burn down the one building and then stop.

Yeah, scared about selling out and yet they sold the company to Unilever. Such frauds.

You can get cheap Chinese knockoff sports jerseys very quick and very easily online, so I'm sure things like police uniforms and national guard gear are just as easy to procure or have created for you.

I'm willing to bet this dude messed up because he stuck out too much, likely not near enough to any of the national guard, and people took notice. Super weird though, and I'm really really hoping it was just some dufus who loves to larp a little bit too much.

Years later and I can't even read these threads without cracking up. One of those unbelievable TV moments that somehow actually happened

Comments on that tweet are excellent, just person after person calling her out for incompetence.

People don't like looting and violence, no matter what the noisy minority of far left losers claim.

"peaceful protesters"

Why were they out past curfew? What did they expect would happen when they ignored curfew?

The Fox News crew got a live shot of a fire burning in the church basement - definitely on fire.

Pitiful performance by leaders in MN. If you can't control the crowd due to size tonight, and you publiclly admit that, do you think more or less people will show up tomorrow night?

7
MakePizzaGreatAgain 7 points ago +7 / -0

Which is extra crazy, since the MN governer just said in his press conference that police and national guard are too busy guarding places like power stations and critical infrastructure to help individual businesses.

Government can't help you, but if you help yourself you'll be in trouble. Cool.

Thanks for linking the details of misdemeanor punishments. Would you mind sharing where it's been announced that not wearing a mask is punishable as a misdemeanor? All I've been able to find is that it'll be on the health department to enforce
