From what i understand, it’s not state reps that will vote on next potus, it’s state congressional reps. These people represent small districts in a state and as you know this past election shows Trump won many more of these districts. While Pelosi has an overall majority I the house, she loses because a majority of STATES have conservative majorities and each state gets one vote. The reps basically have to vote for Trump because their constituency is red and voted that way as well. We do have to be concerned about a few double crossing Trump but then they have their own people to answer to. If I was was a senate issue it would be different because the senators would be under pressure to vote as the state as a whole did (fraud notwithstanding)

People seem to think Supreme Court judges either state or federal, seem to fall out of the sky into their lofty positions. You need to realize these judges all started adjudicating divorces, slip and falls, labor and shitty business litigations etc. they are rarely. constitutionalists and more usually political hacks high on their own fumes of righteous indignity and hypocrisy.
