I’ve seen and been apart of this shit first hand; I worked at Target on the sales floor making $11.25/hr with a steady 40 hours a week. Shit you not; when Target introduced the $13/hr minimum wage within the company my hours were cut by half. Was literally averaging 15-20 hours a week. It sounds great on paper but it doesn’t really mean much. It’s all a fucking fasaad.
