I am in the Soviet State of PA. Been a temp at a major company for 3.5 years with no sign of getting hired. No temps get hired, ever. We make up about 40% of the company's workforce. No sick days. I have prosopagnosia (face blindness) due to a head injury when I was a teen. So no, actually. I can't differentiate faces. It could be a famous murderer, hero, or my uncle for all I know. I tend to tell people apart by height, weight, hair color/style and notable physical characteristics (such as build, jawline, neck thickness, and scars). I actually mistook a random woman at my son's daycare for his teacher (same height, hair color and length). It's pretty disturbing and frequently embarrassing, actually.

I had to fill out this exact questionnaire in order to adopt internationally. I was told repeatedly that white people who don't believe in white privilege shouldn't be allowed to adopt internationally. I had to sign a paper saying I believe I am privileged and that my son will experience racism that I as a white person will never be able to understand, and that I will actively seek out relationships and remodels of his race to include in our lives.

There's just been a lot of "voting doesn't work" posts and I suspect a coordinated effort to get us to give up bothering with voting. Yes, elections are beyond suspect. Yes, they plan on rigging DC so it will be one party rule forever. Even if it doesn't work we still need to do it. Not bothering to go vote just makes it easier for them.
Exactly why I am encouraging my boys to go the trade route vs. college. A degree even in a legitimate major like the sciences is not a path to a stable life with decent pay or benefits.
