But piracy isn't the same as stealing, so not sure how it applies.

If you're not outside a lot, then I doubt it really matters. And this will probably blow over in a couple weeks, though I'mm just guessing.

An N95 mask is supposed to stop 95% of particles 0.3 microns and larger.

Alaska says, regarding wildfire smoke:

"Small particles of concern include 'fine particles' (such as those found in smoke and haze), which are 2.5 micrometers in diameter or less; and 'coarse particles' (such as those found in wind‐blown dust), which have diameters between 2.5 and 10 micrometers."

1 micrometer = 1 micron. it seems to me that if "fine particles" start at 2.5 micrometers, then probably there will be relatively few smaller than 0.3. It's not as if the mask will stop people from inhaling any smoke, but if it cuts it down by, say 80% even, then that's a win.

I think it also happened to the Canadian women's hockey team a few years back. From time to time elite level women's teams will slip up and lose to high school boys.

IDK if someone could tell me how having sex in any kind of way should invoke pride I would really like to know.

Feels silly to discuss it, but hey, why not.

If a married couple maintains a vibrant and enjoyable sexual relationship, then why not be proud of it. It's something many couples don't manage. Or even to be proud of their particular abilities; hey, have fun.

I think part of the issue that we're facing is that in an effort to avoid offending anyone, we've just about dropped the position that there's a qualitative difference between homosexual relationships, and heterosexual married couples.

Marriage between a man and a woman, and their sexual relations is a beautiful, honourable, and noble thing. It's also a private thing. We need to recognize what a gift married sex is, and its vital role in all human society, but we still don't need to parade it in the streets. Though I said it's fine for a couple to be proud of their prowess, I still don't want to hear about it.

And though I believe, as Trudeau senior said, government has no business in the bedrooms of the nation, we do need as a society to recognize that all extra-marital sex, and especially homosexuality, is a personal vice and a societal ill.

So yeah, if you're a married couple and you're rocking it in the sheets, go ahead and be proud of yourselves. Just be proud privately.

tried to force them to lower premiums

It's sad that people with this level of financial ignorance are running governments.

It's not a stylized Christian cross. The swastika has existed for thousands of years before Christ; it's not a Christian symbol. It appears the Nazis chose it to represent the Germanic tribes pre-Christian past.

It's funny how you can just tell there'll be a bunch of people coming in to comment about how wonderful the Nazis were.

We need investment funds with our values to counter the ESG garbage.

It would be amazing to see how quickly they would take that down.

He was a kickboxer before he was famous. Probably still good enough to beat women.

I thought we were kicked off reddit, publicly, because of continual jokes about gay, trans, and fat people. I think the "tranny fluid" post was the final excuse.

I'm sure support of Trump at all was a major reason, but I don't remember not being pro-cop as an issue.

Yeah, but they'll probably use the for pansexual, since bi actually does imply only two genders.
