Good. Anybody McConnell supports will NEVER receive a vote from me. It is the kiss of DEATH.

I stopped eating artificial meat as soon as I heard it was loaded with estrogen. No wonder Gates supports artificial meat, baby killing and vaccine depopulation.

Anybody think Joseph Stalin and Joseph Biden have more than a name in common?

Texas is suffering from listening to CUCKS in Austin trying to impress their Green friends using graft from Green New Deal OBAMA directed toward his friends. Unfortunately, his friends in Texas didn't go bankrupt before reeking havoc on the Electrical Grid and migratory birds.

ps I live in the SE corner of the state and haven't lost electricity. But this is currently the second coldest temperature EVER.

People don't need a stimulus, only corrupt communist businesses do.

FINALLY. Something we can agree on. Impeach Pelosi. Now my reasons are quite different than hers.

note Only one Senator has ever been impeached by the House and charges were dismissed for lack of jurisdiction because he was removed by the Senate Chamber already.

No House member has ever been impeached and it's doubtful any Congressman ever will be since the Constitution allows each Chamber to control it's own members and makes no mention of Impeachment for Congress.

The only loophole (Federal only bill of Rights) was cleared up by the 14th Amendment which made our US Constitutional Rights over-ride any State or local jurisdictions to the contrary.

While it is commonly considered a voting rights Amendment, it does not limit jurisdiction to just those Constitutional Rights.

Only my own. They were raised right, but have gone over to the dark side.

And the same thing happened when I was placed in charge of the United Fund collection for my Department. I wasn't aggressive enough and my career was essentially over there.

I used to donate lot's of blood to the Red Cross. Then I found out that Elizabeth Dole was making $2M/yr to run the CHARITY and they SOLD the blood I donated to other regions for profit.

Technical jargon is the number one method of scientific lying because most people have no clue when it's being misused. It's surpassed saying TESLA anytime you want to promote a perpetual motion machine.

I've live in both the North and the South. I've slipped on the sand and kitty liter when the ice doesn't melt enough to take hold. I will grant you that it works well on SNOW if it doesn't have an ice layer underneath. But I've seen sand used in the South do nothing but give an illusion of traction. It is entirely different than salt used up north that actually melts ice. (and ruins cars)

Sand only works if it created enough friction from heavy travel. I wouldn't trust sand with my car for a New York second.

It might have a little positive effect AFTER the precipitation stops and temperatures have risen past freezing.

I've been watching the forecast temperature for tonight keep dropping. Now it's down to 14 degrees. That's about 10 degrees under the typical coldest day of a typical decade and the second coldest I can remember.

I think the coldest day ever recorded when I was younger was in 1899, but still in double digits. Then a freak arctic blast plunged us down to about 5 degrees and it didn't get past 9 degrees for that day's high. After that, it warmed up. I remember that event because I thought it was amazing that the High that day was lower than the prior record low.

Anyway, I haven't heard any precipitation lately so it's either stopped or turned to snow.

I'm fortunate that my heater is gas powered and I have a gas generator to run the electric motor. But I also have an electric fireplace to keep my living space a little warmer.

I graduated in 1980 with a BS in Energy Resources Management. I can tell you with 100% confidence that every problem we face today is political and not technical.

Politics.

Mandate that all power companies are prohibited from using the most efficient and cost effective peak load generation (Natural Gas).

Then create a crisis by mathematical manipulation (we're down to 10 years of fossil fuels) while failing to mention that 10 years is the TYPICAL outlook before they stop looking for additional resources.

The create co-generation power class which uses Natural Gas almost exclusively and require power companies to take the excess electricity. And just for good measure, require those power companies to purchase that electricity at the price of the most inefficient power production (Nuclear - almost all capital cost).

The have politically connected businessmen construct Natural Gas Plants, ostensibly as co-gen, but in reality merely private generation to do what you prohibited the power companies from doing and make a financial killing off the spread between the mandate purchase price and most efficient generation price.

Then create new (renewable) sources of energy which are inefficient and dangerous and require their use, rinse and repeat to keep the money train rolling.

I think AUSTIN should o without power for the duration since they manufactured this power "crisis." Why should the rest of Texas help the wing nuts in the Peoples Republic of Texas?
