You could also lay blame for the Black Plague on China. Historians generally believe that it started in Southern China. The SARS epidemic in 2002 also started there. Maybe there's some reason for it but I don't know.
I'm living in Korea right now. Everyone is talking about it, it's on the news nonstop. There are two main concerns:
First, China is notorious for lying about really important stuff until they admit the truth at the last moment, when it's too late to fix; not only because that's how communism operates, but also due to the system of honor and shame that exists in East-Asian societies. If China gives a number of confirmed cases for this disease, you can double, triple, quadruple it - that'd be closer to the truth.
Second, this is happening during Lunar New Year, called "Chinese New Year" in the west, but it's celebrated in Korea, Japan, and a few other countries too. It is the biggest holiday of the year over here and everyone is travelling. Several teachers and students at the school I work at have gone home to China and many of my coworkers are scared that they'll return with the virus. Consider how many Chinese exchange students are going to be returning to the US next week.
It is suspicious timing and placement for this sort of thing to happen. If you asked me to pick a country to release a virus for maximum impact, I'd pick China - relatively good infrastructure, so the disease can travel fast, but bad communication, so it can be kept secret until it's too late. And if you had to pick a time of year to release it, of course it would be Lunar New Year. This is the perfect storm.
For added symbolism, 2020 is the year of the rat - a symbol of disease which carried the Black Plague to Europe.
Since many of you can't see the video, here's a news article on the subject. It seems like it is not terror related, possibly an industrial accident, but nobody knows what happened yet.
https://amp.thenewstribune.com/news/nation-world/article239598313.html
One person was missing following a large explosion at an apparent industrial building in Houston early Friday that heavily damaged nearby buildings and homes, left rubble scattered in the area and was felt miles away.
One person was taken to a hospital because of the blast, the Houston Fire Department said, and a fire burned at the site hours after the explosion. Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo said that one person was unaccounted for.
A fire continued to burn at the site hours after the explosion and people were told to avoid the area. Aerial images showed rubble where one building apparently stood and debris strewn about. Surrounding structures had portions of their walls and roofs heavily damaged.
The explosion, which appeared to be centered on an industrial building, shook other buildings about 4:30 a.m., with reports on Twitter of a boom felt across the city. People were told to avoid the area.
Houston police tweeted that officers were blocking off streets in the area. Police said people should avoid the area, but no evacuation has been ordered. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said first responders were checking on residents of nearby homes.
Several people told Houston TV station KHOU that the explosion was so loud, they thought a bomb had gone off or that a vehicle had crashed into their homes. At one man's home about 1/4 mile (0.4 kilometers) away, glass doors were shattered, ceilings were cracked, and the lid of his toilet was even torn off, the station reported.
Southeast Texas has seen a series of explosions in recent years up and down the Texas Gulf Coast, which is home to the highest concentration of oil refineries in the nation. Last July, an explosion at an ExxonMobil refinery in Baytown left more than dozen people with minor injuries and put nearby residents under a shelter-in-place advisory for three hours.
In December, two blasts in the coastal city of Port Neches shattered windows and ripped the doors from nearby homes.
I've been doing this for years. Most people know me as a Bernie bro, and I really used to be one so I can easily spout the leftist dogma they agree with - and then sprinkle in a few red pills. Sometimes I don't even use the dogma, just insult Trump's intelligence immediately before telling them about something actually great that he's done. "Sure Trump's a moron, but I think we should give him credit when he does something good. Even if he does it by accident." Gradually they board the Trump train and I drop the veil, only saying good things about Trump, until we're both enthusiastic supporters. I've done this with a few people, and each of them believes we were redpilled simultaneously. When you're a public figure tho, you have to keep up the act forever because you'll alienate newcomers if you ever drop that veil.
When I was in college all my professors were leftists, and some were quite vocal about it. I had a professor who played the the first Soviet Anthem, "The Internationale" for the class, and spoke candidly about how much he envied socialist revolutionaries and wished he could experience a communist uprising. I had another one who got into arguments about how only white people were racist, and that racism was intentionally invented by rich people to divide the poor.
One of my professors, despite looking and acting like a redneck cowboy type, sincerely believed that Texan culture didn't exist - and he was born and raised in rural Texas. He might've been a recent convert, idunno, but it was perplexing to me how he could be the spitting image of a salt-of-the-earth conservative Texan and say ridiculous things like "Texans aren't a real people."
I am sad to say that I got the liberal bug myself while attending that college and it wasn't until Trump's presidency that I realized how wrong it all was. Colleges are brainwashing centers, and they work on everyone, even people you'd think are incorruptible. Even if you're going for a STEM degree they require you take a half dozen politicized courses so they can ensure they get to everybody. If we continue down the path toward universal free college education, as it seems to be the direction our nation is going right now, it'll be the end of American culture. It'll also create an inoperable ultra-competitive job market where people spend half their lives training for careers that don't exist.
Long story short, don't send your kids to college. Make sure they know how useless the majority of degrees are, and encourage them to take up a trade - plumber, electrician, trucker, carpenter, etc. We need to glorify blue collar jobs. They usually pay more than most college educated jobs anyway.
This is the most despicable thing I've ever read. How can anyone write this in good conscious? They're literally saying that Christianity isn't cultural, and that if you celebrate the happiness of your country's native people, then you're a bad person. Is it bad to be happy and successful? Are native populations inherently evil? Seems like the EU has total and open hatred for their own continent and the nations on it. They want to fail, they want their neighbors to fail, and they're not even trying to hide it. In fact they're proud of it; they're giving an award for it!
I will never set foot on European soil so long as these backwards hateful bigots are in charge.
Civil war is a bad idea unless it's their only option. Then, they may take it. Even if they lose, it will hurt us badly. So if Trump actually positions himself to dismantle the deep state, then the deep state will position itself to start a civil war. It's basically the same logic as nuclear deterrence - mutually assured destruction. The chaos of a civil war also may allow the worst deep state actors to escape judgement and punishment.
Here's a couple of posts about how a potential civil war may go down:

I don't know how accurate these are, since they're anonymous, so take it with a grain of salt and do some research if you doubt anything.
Democrats start a civil war. In military simulations of such an event, its predicted that most of the US military forces (over 70%) side against the federal government, with more defecting if the government is presently left-wing. From there all the Dems need to do is incite nonstop news coverage about white supremacist traitors in the military, and congress will vote with mass support from their urban serfs to bring in international military support to end "Trump's coup." The US civil war becomes an international invasion of the US from all sides, with our allies and enemies alike piling on to "help us" end this destructive conflict.
We need to make it a requirement that politicians take a vow of poverty before taking public office. That is, forbid them from having or using money. They get free meals in the congressional cafeteria, and one free cheap suit so they look nice in front of the people, and that's it. Then audit their income every year for a decade after they leave office and jail them for any suspicious income, just in case they decided to defer their bribes.
And the entire middle east. Most modern terror groups are funded in part or in whole by Iran.
I'm not at all shocked that they'd do this. I used to be, but I'm not anymore. The mainstream US media posts outright lies daily. There isn't a single honest thing they say, not one, never. Even when they say something that I initially agree with, it makes me question whether my beliefs are ethical or founded in reality. Everything they say is either a manipulation, a half-truth, exaggeration, or outright lie. This is normal now.
This comes less than a month after their landmark decision to give drivers licenses out to illegal immigrants. They aren't even trying to be subtle anymore, its like they want us to notice! Are they rubbing our faces in it, or are they getting desperate?
It is incredible that his hypothetical example used Soleimani by name. I'd call this a wacky conspiracy theory if it was just "a prominent party leader" or something nondescript like that, but saying the name of the very man we'd kill hours later... there's no way that's a coincidence. I just cannot believe it.
The topic at hand is public sector unions. That means, government employees. I'm guessing you are in a private sector union.
Private sector unions are sometimes good, sometimes bad. Public sector unions are almost always bad, by my understanding, because the employer (the state) is usually on the side of the union, especially in Democrat controlled areas, and the end result is an unlimited gravy train of workplace benefits and job security guarantees for government employees. This, in turn, results in a drastic drop in productivity as the employee understands that he can never be fired and will receive regular raises and bonuses regardless of the quality of his work.
lmao i'd love to see Beta doing the dirty work he's such a big fan of
let him get down in the muck with us and go toe-to-toe with armed rednecks
see how that works out for the pasty irish wetback-wannabe
The gun is the keystone of liberty. Remove that, and you lose everything. Put simply, the only reason corrupt politicians don't become dictators is that they are afraid of being shot. Don't you dare believe that American politicians are above that. There are hopeful tyrants among every nation of people on Earth. There are people in congress right now who would sell your soul for a corn chip.
But it's not enough to simply defend the right to bear arms, you must exercise it too! You can't just count on your neighbors, or some farmer a hundred miles away from you to intimidate the government into behaving itself. Tyranny can be localized! If YOU are disarmed, they will enslave YOU.
In an ideal world, every single able-bodied American of sound mind would own a gun.
Simple memes and jokes don't (usually) get under our skin because Trump supporters have a sense of humor. Leftists, not so much. When you get a thicker skin, you can find comedy in anything, including - if not especially - in the mocking of things you hold to be sacred. I laugh at pro-Trump memes, I laugh at anti-Trump memes. Sometimes it's hard to tell which is which.
"redistribution of wealth is important and violence will be necessary to accomplish it"
"you mentioned guns so I was confused"
Does she think her revolution will be carried out by men with swords and spears?
Or perhaps she is in that group of leftists who consider mean, insulting words as a form of "violence."
It is shocking to me that such a thing even needs to be said. Mad world.
It's going to be interesting if Trump actually makes war during his presidency, because you know he'll make it so fast the military-industrial complex won't know what hit them. They'll go to bed one night thinking they just hit pay dirt, and wake up the next morning knowing their services are no longer required.
Islam is the greatest evil ever distilled by man. If you read the Quran and it doesn't make you hate Islam, then either you're a Muslim, or you're stupid. That said, I feel nothing but pity for people born into that religion. I hope someday it can be overcome and its unwilling followers finally be free. Most of them don't even know what they believe in; few Muslims even read the Quran.
Even the ones who have read it don't understand what they're reading because they're only allowed to read it in classical Arabic - a dead language. But it is considered a rite of passage in Islam to recite the Quran, even if you don't understand what you're saying, and it is a virtue to believe in it blindly.
So you don't have to go to Twitter, here's the full tweet:
@EmmaVingeland Imagine the Iranian government assassinated Mike Pompeo with a drone, at the direction of the president, and called it self defense. That’s exactly what the US did by killing Soleimani — an act of war. The only difference is Iran’s self defense claims would be more legitimate.
Don't worry guys, crony capitalism is okay when we do it!
Remember the good old days when the left hated rich people? But of course everyone sings a different tune when they're at the top.
LEFTISTS HAVE BECOME THE VERY THING THEY SWORE TO DESTROY!
"These fires are from miss-management of the land due to new green policies stopping controlled burns"
Wow! So Californian!
I swear every single leftist solution actually causes the problem that they're trying to solve. Want to save the trees? End controlled burns and stop pruning the areas around power cables, let it all grow naturally... whoops the entire forest is on fire now. I guess they forgot that wildfires are a part of nature too!
Just like the leftists of today, they change the definition of words to suit their needs. Coercing a woman into sex upon the threat of beatings is definitely rape. "Temporary marriage" is adultery. Oh but they can feel good about breaking their own rules because they found a loophole. They can be awful horrid barbaric monsters but still say they're the good guys because "technically Islam forbids that."
