What they are doing, is exactly the same as provoking a suspect then arresting them for resisting arrest.
They want, so bad, to claim to be oppressed, like Hong Kong. So they goad agents of the state into acting in a manner that could be seen as oppressive, then claim they were just standing up to oppression.
You guys are looking at this wrong. If racism is a "public health crisis" than the "treatment" becomes a moral imperative for the people that declared it so. How do you treat "racists"(I.e. conservatives)? By sending them to re-education camps.
