I actually heard them talking about extending 9/11 benefits while we were flipping the channel on local news last night. Mentioned those who were involved in 9/11 had a greater chance for being effected by corona virus due to health.
I just don't see how that would be a conspiracy. Isn't it common sense that health issues could arise? These buildings were made of toxic things, not to mention the burning ash and falling debris.
Can you imagine all the responders who have since been diagnosed with cancer related to this? We really never hear about it. If I remember it correctly, there was some push + shove to care for those who needed assistance by our own government. John Stewart has videos all over YouTube on basically helping to have these benefits reinstated.
I was in sixth grade. It was urgent news announced to our reading class. Teacher was trying to call her family + we got dismissed early. Military brat, our usual gate to school was on lock down, where typically we could walk back onto base. Parents had to pick us up, spent some delay trying to get on base. Base was on high alert + went home to watch the news. I just remember being a kid + how surreal it felt.
From then on if you were old enough to have a military dependent card (age 10), you had to have your card on you to get on base even with a parent. Security definitely changed.
I can't anymore. Celebs respect dropping like flies. They need to learn to just shut up when it comes to things they have no knowledge on. I used to like to listen to her first album but I would never take relationship, political or any advice from her for that matter.
Candace Owens owned her... I'd listen to her music 😂.
Not only that but maintenance. Most black people only wash their hair maybe once a week, as their oils aren't the same. Their hair tends to be on the dryer side and braids + other styles help keep it maintained. Some do relaxers which would be the equivalent to Brazilian blowouts/straightening treatments for white people. Brazilian blowouts can be used to maintain natural hair, but chances are it isn't strong enough to fully tame depending on how kinky the hair is.
I've worked on some natural heads + honestly I've seen it all. I think it being short is also preference. Some women love their wigs + change up their hair so much with wefts/weave it's easier to keep it short. Relaxers + style changes also wears on the hair, which could cause hair breakage + allow the hair not to grow. I think this is why there is natural hair movement.

Here's the article, must be because I'm in NC.
Parents in North Carolina struggling to get their children back to the classroom have received some welcome news. The state Legislature’s $1.1 billion Covid-19 relief package includes a provision expanding the state’s school choice program.
The victory is all the more significant because the state’s Democratic Governor, Roy Cooper, came into office vowing to eliminate the program. In late August he proposed taking $85 million from the Opportunity Scholarship program while spending $360 million for a $2,000 bonus for all public school teachers.
This debate concerned money from the unspent portion of the $4 billion that Congress sent to the state under the Cares Act. North Carolina Republicans who control the Legislature made school choice a condition of support for the bill, and the Governor had to sign or risk losing all those unspent federal dollars. As GOP state Sen. Rob Bryan put it, “no one really wants to vote against parental choice in this climate.”
The bill expands the Opportunity Scholarship voucher program by raising the income limit for a family of four to $72,000 from roughly $63,000. It also lifts the caps on enrollment for kindergarten and first-grade students, which will now give 1,000 kids on the waiting list a choice. It allows the state’s two virtual charter schools to enroll an additional 3,800 students.
It also includes $335 in “extra credit” grants to families with children that can be used for anything from private tutors to upgrading a WiFi system for better remote learning. Union-run public schools have no basis for complaint because the bill insulates school districts from budget cuts if they report a decline in enrollment.
North Carolina’s decision comes as Covid-19 has exposed the union-first, students-last priorities of traditional public schools. Many union schools refuse to return to in-person learning, while charters and private schools are doing so. Parents worried about their children falling behind are learning that the union schools’ take-it-or-leave-it approach leaves them without options.
“North Carolina’s actions show what can be done when legislators, even in a state governed by both parties, are willing to put party loyalties aside,” says Jeanne Allen, CEO of the Center for Education Reform. Let’s hope more states follow North Carolina’s lead.
My pede is stubborn. I told him I'm tired of living in sin LOL. I'm pretty much his wife 🙄... Both in our 30's + have lived together for awhile.
Farmers only was mostly a joke. I was told to seek good grocery stores on Fridays because that's something only a single person would do on Friday... Now who knows. Plus, if you live in a blue state who knows what's hiding behind that mask 🤣.
Hell yeah! So, glad that the author of my favorite childhood books isn't taking the knee to all this garbage.
