Yes, this is one of my pet peeves. I think it is one of the most misspelled words on the internet.

Martial law: the law administered by military forces that is invoked by a government in an emergency when the civilian law enforcement agencies are unable to maintain public order and safety

I just checked some random Detroit homes in Street View, and in fact, there are still a ton of boarded-up, condemned houses. I won't post specific addresses because of the doxxing rules, but check out the neighborhoods around Joy Rd and Alpine St, for just one example.

What you subsidize, you get more of. What you tax, you get less of.

Instant cure for covid—implement a covid tax!

needing lower scores to enter a university will make it difficult for them to succeed long term
No errors detected. It's another example of how the left's misguided compassion actually harms the people it is supposedly meant to help.

Do you mean to say that this virtuous defender of climate justice uses a carbon-spewing yacht? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you!

One of the most technologically advanced countries in the world, and we run our most important democratic institution like a third world banana republic.

The story has changed. Originally they said there were several attackers, and some had been killed. Now they say "There was no one present at the scene."

I'm so old, I remember when liberals were in favor of free speech.

Sadly, there are a lot of people who do want mommy government to warm their bottles for them and tuck them into bed at night. I was disgusted to read all the Twitter comments thanking Washington state governor Inslee for shutting down the state again to keep them from getting the coof.

I see lots of support for Trump on Wood's Parler and Twitters accounts, but I haven't seen anything specific, like joining Trump's legal team, yet. https://parler.com/profile/linwood/posts

Thank you for this prayer. I have been encouraged by the number of people I have seen all over the internet who are turning to prayer at this time. No matter how dark things seem to us, God is always winning and will have the ultimate victory in the end.

There has actually been legislation proposed for this. The State of Liberty is a proposed U.S. state to be formed out of Eastern Washington: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_Liberty

There is also a proposed state of Lincoln, which would include parts of Wasington, Oregon, and Idaho: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_(proposed_Northwestern_state)

Yeah. Earnings were even 3x expectations for the quarter. What hurt them is that new users were 1/10 expectations.

No matter how red or how blue your state is, get out and vote! The popular vote matters. If Trump wins the electoral college but loses the popular vote like 2016, they will use it as an excuse to delegitimize his presidency.

The popular vote matters—especially this year. No matter how blue or how red your state is, get out and vote! We don't want to give them any excuse to delegitimize a Trump victory and we don't want to hear another four years of whining "But we won the popular vote!"

My 22 year old son was proud to cast his vote for Trump. He triggers all his friends. I'm proud of him. I've never said a word to him about politics—he got this on his own. He went to a majorly leftist high school—rainbow flags on the walls and everything—but he wasn't having any of it. He hates anyone telling him what to think.

No matter how blue your state is, get out and vote! It might flip, but even if it doesn't, the popular vote matters—especially this year. We don't want to hear another four years of whining, "But we won the popular vote."
