The Lakers are in the finals, and nobody on my Facebook is talking about it. And I'm in LA and have a lot of Lakers fans for friends...

I know the pain. I've been a Clippers fan since 1994. They're finally contenders...

There's not a lot that annoys me more in life than that damn sign...

That comment to like ratio though...

I did get a bit of a chuckle out of him saying "this is what the media will not show" and then driving by several news vans later.

But I do get and agree with his point

They casually add "and others" at the end of that list

Such a shame. The Pacific Northwest is one of my favorite places to visit, but so many of its citizens are absolutely insane

So Lung Pao Sicken is still okay?

I work as a professor, and several colleagues do that in their email signatures (sigh). Best part is, they never use abnormal ones, it's always he or she

Isn't this joke "homophobic"? #loveislove

To be fair, that meme is referring to a moment where Skinner is completely bullshitting Superintendent Chalmers. Are we sure the original poster was being serious?

PLEASE tell me this is photoshopped

As someone who is just past the "youth" classification, I'm so thankful I never had to live through World War II or the Cold War.

Honest question here: This post seems to imply that opening back up is extremely safe, the virus is a glorified cold, and this guy is overreacting for political or ignorance reasons. However, two posts up, posters are implying that 21 million Chinese people have died.

Is this virus a complete nothing burger or a catastrophe beyond our comprehension?

I also hate that this has to be brought up every commercial break for another reason: a lot of people watch TV to escape from what's going on in their lives. We don't need to be constantly reminded about it...

What the fuck am I looking at?

At the very least, maybe people will stop coming to work and cough and hack all over me when they have the flu

6
McThing 6 points ago +6 / -0

That phrase annoys me too. It means things will always be this way, and there's no way in hell that's true

2
McThing 2 points ago +2 / -0

There is literally nothing you can say or do to appease people like this

The flu game is exactly what I thought about when the NBA postponed their season. Not that I necessarily disagreed with their decision, but it's an interesting parallel

Yeah, don't you just love when they refer to "the internet" or "Twitter" as if it were one monolithic entity? As if every single person on the internet had the exact same thoughts and beliefs?
