I remember when a Honduran ( I think) caravan went through one Mexican city. The locals prepared food and water for them and the caravan just dumped in garbage bins or just throw it on the streets. The city was littered with torn-up but almost full launch boxes. It really told you something about those "poor starving" caravans.
We wish it were true. It is far worse here than you think. On the surface it looks that we are the real paragons of justice and liberty but in practice we are getting fucked over by our government much more than you do if you can believe it. The funniest thing is that most Americans think that we got rid of the communists here but that is not true, vast majority of communist politicians stayed in power by renaming their party from Communist to Socialist or something similar.
I don't know anyone anymore who didn't have the beer bug and yet, not a single one of them died. We are supposedly the worst country when it comes to covid in Europe (CZ) but NOTHING happened here. People still visit, go to secret clubs, gyms, churches and restaurants and there are no dead lying on the streets, hospitals are not full and nobody really cares anymore about it.

Czech Rep's president and PM are constantly trying to gain favors with the CCP for some unknown reason (probably kickbacks) which makes my blood fucking boil like nothing else. Their tourists are rude and CCP keeps bringing their shitty policies here "or we will stop our people from touring your cities". Absolutely infuriating is what it is.
So, there is one thing I don't understand about the people here. On one side you all keep saying "it's just the flu, bro." on the other you praise POTUS for doing everything in his power to keep the US closed off from all nations currently suffering the Corona. So which is it? Is Trump overreacting to a "less dangerous flu" or not?

Doesn't change the fact that the change came peacefully, nobody had to shoot their way out of socialism. Romanians did because the ruling family there were butchers and got what they deserved. Unfortunately in most countries of the Eastern Block all the communism politicians went straight back into politics and some of them are in office to this day.
