Yeah, but do you know how dangerous it would be if the VP, one man, is able to unilaterally overturn an election? That’s the quickest path to tyranny and the Founders weren’t that stupid to put something like that into the Constitution.
Yes that is incorrect. People are being misleading. It can only be sent back if there are objections in writing from a member of the House and Senate from a certain state. And the objection can only go through if the majority in both chambers votes to approve the objection. That’s something that wouldn’t happen because the Democrats control the House.

HE DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER TO OVERTURN AN ELECTION DUMBASSES
All he has the power to do is preside over the certification of the votes. If people object to the certification of a State, he has the power to allow debate on the objection on the floor. If the debate fails, he can't do anything. If the debate succeeds, he can then ask the State legislatures what to do next. But he has no power to unilaterally overturn the election and he has to let the process play out.
The Founding Fathers did NOT put something in the Constitution that says ONE MAN is able to overturn an ENTIRE election. Anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant or lying.
