Ditto. I returned from Kenya in late October with the worst upper respiratory infection ever. The cough lasted and lasted, and it took 1 1/2 months for it to finally clear. The most unusual "cold/sore throat" I've ever had. Anecdotal? Yeah, but it really was a mystery to me.
Well, this is disappointing. David Goldman, i.e. Spengler, is usually very insightful and is generally a brilliant analyst. He has also followed China for years, and I am stunned that he has penned this ridiculous article. To trust that the Chinese actually have a "remarkable achievement" in "containing" and bringing to a halt, this insidious creation of theirs, stretches credulity. That they will come out stronger is only possible if there is no accountability laid at their feet. GEOTUS, I doubt, will allow that to happen! MAGA - KAG!
What a fool! Sweetwater is in the oil and farming regions of Texas and is a "God and Country" area of the state!
Actually, they are using the "wheel." If this is what I think it is, I've seen this first-hand in the deserts of northern Kenya. Those "barrels" are full of water and they are too heavy to carry, so they roll them to their villages. Sucks to think that this is all the water they'll have for a few days. But, you know, it really is the US that needs transformation! s/
