I've got a story for you. About 10 years ago I was given the opportunity to go to a military base and watch a civilian communications demo. They had laid out a lot of military communications technology that was just declassified earlier in the year. Some of this technology was from the mid 70's and was just declassified. No one in the public knew it was even available until 2011. Fast forward to today - the military has been testing the X 37B and other unmanned spacecraft in the public view for a few years. There's absolutely no limit to the classified technology they have available. It'd be silly to think the US classified options available to the Space Force are limited to what the public knows is available.
