I think they took the good parts of England and added a system to deal with all the bad parts. They were unbelievably smart when you think that what they came up with is still working to guard against enemies, foreign and domestic.
I'm from the UK and we had a lad from Texas come over and he was shocked to find that I was all for citizens having guns. He thought that we were all against it and I told him that American citizens having guns ensured that no one can defeat you.
I also said that an attack on your country would only from within, but I never thought that I'd actually see it happen.

I went to university in the UK. We had a lecture on USA voting machines during my masters degree in computing in 2006 and it was obvious then that they were dubious. I've been waiting for them to try and introduce them here, but they never have.
It shouldn't be too complicated. From the testimony given today it sounds like they just write all the data from the various machines to a CSV (comma separated value) file and then total it up. From what I've been reading online, it is wrote in an object oriented language, which would allow for an investigator to write unit tests against it to see what it is doing.
I work in computers and what I heard today suggests that the have been caught red handed. I think Trump is doing it this way so that when the arrests start, a lot of the information is already out in the public.
