They are either impeaching a President (he is) or they are impeaching a private citizen.
For the President, the Chief Justice must preside. There is no clause to impeach someone that is not holding office.
If this is allowed to proceed, it makes a mockery of both the Senate and the Constitution.
The difference goes into what do you do with that knowledge. We are to confess our sins, and ask for forgiveness. We are granted that opportunity by God, which is the gift.
Ephesians 2:8 & 9 "8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast."
We cannot be saved by works. The saving is the gift. Christians take the proactive steps by knowing, and then acknowledging the sovereignty of Jesus, and then asking for forgiveness, which is to say, asking for the gift that is available to those that will acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God.
The one rule about the left is they will eat each other in a heartbeat at the first sign of weakness or non conformity. If Wolf taking on Nancy is a sign of anything, its that they are viewing her as a weakness to the cause.
He believes there is a fundamental difference between Republican and Democrat voters, which will extend into a belief of who he is representing. He would not be the President of the United States, he would be the President of Democrats and Czar of the Deplorables.
Trump isn't necessarily going after "the worst", he's going after biggest, most visible targets. Consider the list: NYC is a front and center example of a city bleeding out people. Washington D.C. is almost in open rebellion to the Feds with what they are trying with the monuments. Seattle had the CHAZ. Portland's mayor is attacking Trump and simultaneously failing his city on the national stage. All of these cities repeatedly refused Federal assistance.
Trump is fighting on the national stage and taking on the most visible targets for maximum visual effect to showcase consequences.
Watched an analysis by Nick Rekieta last night on this. In his opinion, the fact that Kyle was charged in 24 hours, and with 1st Degree, should favor Kyle.
The video clearly shows he was attempting to retreat, and he did not have intention to kill. The fact that the DA didn’t take time to review evidence before charging makes this hasty. For anyone that remembers, the officers involved with Floyd weren’t charged until weeks later.
Turnabout is fair play. The Golden Rule hits both ways.
