Schoolhouse Rock lied but the Simpson’s was spot on. There was one episode where Homer learned how laws were made, by getting the sponsor of a popular bill drunk and paper clipping an unpopular bill to it.

I want to say I read somewhere that wasn’t true and actually fabricated for a movie (not Django Unchained, it was around the time that came out that I read it). I mean it makes sense, why would the plantation owners risk losing the labor?

Hell no, hi points cost 1.5 hi points now

Just out of curiosity, what would your recommended course of action be if the courts and legislatures refuse to even hear the evidence for election fraud?

It is similar in meaning to the saying that history is written by the winner. The group that is the strongest is right because they are the last ones left.

I think it was more a desperation play. They knew a 2nd term President is dangerous so it was a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation. It was a Hail Mary with no time on the clock and now their receiver is just trying to make it to the end zone.

I think this is fair given the circumstances. I generally don’t go along with the notion some have that “if you are innocent you have nothing to hide”, but this is not someone’s private effects, these are ostensibly publicly owned equipment used for public purposes and should be readily accessible for review.

But they are going to say that anyway. In fact they are already saying that based on SCOTUS not hearing the case. Most people just hear the case was dismissed, not that the evidence was never allowed to be presented.

I think I would even tolerate a losing court case if they would at least have the spine to hear the evidence first. Losing would suck but not even getting to make the case is so frustrating.

I never said they were or weren’t, I was just pointing out that if the military were to get involved then the destruction or salvaging of evidence is a moot point.

I don’t think evidence really matters if things escalate to military intervention. At that point it becomes a might-makes-right situation and the evidence would just be a footnote in the history books.

The truth is though the legal challenges are the only ones running out of time. The military option is still viable for another month, and once initiated wouldn’t be subject to that timetable

That hurts me so bad because I can hear someone saying it

On the bright side this lowers the figures for gun deaths

But with a no frills tabulator how can we che...I mean justify paying our friends a small fortu... I mean ensure every minority vote is counted!

More like they fight to see how much they can relinquish and still convince people they are conservative.

I don’t have as grim an outlook when it comes to automation, things may suck but people will adapt just like they did with the growth of other technologies.

I just think politicians are putting the finishing touches on a system where they no longer need our consent.

Damn I hate it that Rex Chapman has turned into such a shitheel.

I said it in another thread but it bears repeating: if the fraud stands they no longer need our vote. They have probably been doing some dealing behind the scenes on how to best divide up the seats of power to give the appearance of choice. People keep saying “cross the rubicon” but the truth is the establishment already did when they adopted fraudulent techniques.

The truth is though, if the fraud stands, they don’t need us to vote. They are finalizing the creation of a self-perpetuating oligarchy with the facade of choice.

My guess is like all RINOs, they can talk a big game and that is exactly how they got the nod

I’m not going to pretend to have a clue what is happening, but maybe he is playing the optics game because of the runoff in Georgia.

Beshear is the reason Daniel Cameron should be signing on, I mean Beshear did basically sue his way to relevancy.
