What surprises me more, and saddens me, is the number of people who are perfectly programmed to believe whatever the news tells them. A talking head on TV or a headline says "the most secure election in history" and then they just repeat that to family members and co-workers at the water cooler, with no critical thought or skepticism. You can't have a free society if most people are so perfectly programmed.
