I think we need to just be making Federal Government Less relevant. Doesn't matter if it's 50 or 5,000. One city shouldn't have so much authority over every other city in the country.
There is nothing more permanent than a temporary Government program.

If the labor only produces $14 an hour but the employee costs the employer $20 an hour (salary + benefits) they have to operate at a loss, increase prices (inflation), lay off workers, or outsource the labor.
The market corrects itself. If employers struggle to fill positions, they just make those jobs more appealing with higher pay or more benefits.
It's easy to off the fatties. Gotta really get creative to get the healthy ones.

Same. Been planning out a multi-family house build for a few years to give my entire family a stable foundation. Between Biden, Governors intentionally collapsing the economy, and lumber costs... really putting off that dream.
But most of my family is still living in denial thinking everything will always be awesome and nothing wrong with drowning in debts. So might just do a simple steel build instead.
