My child is being brainwashed by ESPN. Child started talking about racism and the protests. I just listened for a second and asked my child to list 1 example of racism that they have witnessed in our community. It was glorious to see that they could not list 1 example that they witnessed first hand.
Then I asked... have your parents, family or friends ever said any derogatory statements towards people of another race? No... they couldn't list any examples, only what was on TV. I replied with "that's because we don't have to be alike but we don't hate people, its not who we are".
All the while, ESPN (ABC) is trying to convince my child we are racist because our skin is lighter. I want to cancel but I'm getting a huge amount of pushback. Soon... very soon!!!

Very misrepresented! I would have been scared and pulled a gun also if those ladies attacked me and my vehicle. Luckily in PA, your vehicle is considered part of your castle for the castle doctrine to apply so I would have a chance in court.

You are much better off with friends like that. I have liberal friends and we just agree to disagree and don't discuss politics. My true liberal friends would be at my doorstep in a minute if I am ever in need. Those are true friends, not anyone who would cancel you for what you believe in. Its funny that I lost family over my Trump support but still have some great friends, even a few liberal ones. They are my true friends and that is how adults have relationships.
