All of that sounds like a...blast (I'm sorry haha). My AR-10 has a 22" heavy barrel on it and it's super accurate, but it weighs almost 13 lbs loaded. You could probably get one down to 7 or 8 pounds if you were careful about what you put on it. Would be a good time on garden guard duty (guarden duty?). I had no idea that Idaho had weight limits on hunting rifles. Too bad about the Barrett. Mine is an Aero M5 by the way and I love it, just make sure you get an adjustable gas block and the right buffer weights/sizes. Lot of people run into trouble on builds because of buffer compatibility issues.

What are you going to use the rifle for? I've got both, and if it's just for hunting, I'd probably keep the '06, just because the AR10 is probably going to be a lot heavier depending on what you use in the build. Depends on the type of hunting you're doing: if you're just sitting in a treestand back east somewhere then it's fine, but if you're out west hiking all over the mountains looking for elk then you might not want to carry it around. I love mine though and I do take it hunting sometimes, so as long as you're willing to carry that beast then have at it!
Most of them for sure, but It’s not all of them. Very hard to speak out in that profession though. They can have their licenses revoked if they engage in wrong think.

This guy has a 57, so it should be a milled receiver. I have a 58 and mine is. Much worse shape though and still in the process of getting restored. Nice old rifle OP.
If you don't have one already, get a suppressor. I too, have pretty severe tinnitus. Suppressor plus ear pro and you shouldn't have any problems at all.
I was in Chicago recently and watched people in moving trucks moving out of their very nice apartment buildings downtown day after day. Most of them probably did vote for what they're getting but when they leave they're coming to your/my areas. We don't necessarily want them to leave in droves, plus, there are plenty of good and decent Americans in those cities who deserve the right to pursue the American dream.
