Plus the Dems urgency to try to get him out of office now, instead of just waiting 10 days. Including trying to both use impeachment and the 25th. If they only wanted to prevent him from running again in 2024, they'd just try to rush through an impeachment. But also trying to use the 25th screams that they just want him out ASAP using whatever method they can use. And hopping between military bunkers keeps the Clinton method off the table.
Maybe I'm just OD'ing on hopium and the Dem leadership are actually just idiots, instead of being evil. But they wouldn't have built such a deep swamp if they were idiots. So I'm cautiously optimistic.

The Chief Justice isn't in control of whether the court takes a case. Only 4 justices are needed to grant cert (though for high stakes cases generally a side will only grant cert if they have 5. That's likely why the court turned down all of those 2A cases).
But now there's a 5-roberts-3 balance on the court. Whichever way he swings, it probably won't matter.
And be prepared, because him winning now will shatter the left, more than him winning on election night would have, because now they're absolutely sure of their victory. They'll lash out. Be prepared, and stay safe pedes.
