When our brains are in constant fly or fight mode, our brains doesn't process rational information accordingly. This is something I've observing since a while back. The reason why Haitians and Dominicans don't get along is due to the cultural differences and the stupid racism bs. After France destimated half of Haiti, other Haitians try to take DR to pay France with the resources on that side of the island (DR). Dominicans fought back and won, putting an end to the Haitians occupancy. Most Haitians believe is the other way around and that Dominicans "stole" their land. Because this was/is a constant idiation of Haitians, Trujillo happened and Dominicans don't want them involved in the culture and/or politics. Also, DR is heavily influenced by Western Europe on culture, religion and ethics (most of the population, you'll always find the unadaptable ones), while Haiti is influenced by African-tribalistic culture and pagan deities. Cultural Clash at its finest.
I have met dozens of well-educated Haitians in the USA and they agreed with me that our countries battles are base on idiocy and death ideologies.
