Been “mandatory” where I live for a while but enough people don’t wear them that there’s nothing they can really do about it. Have to wear it in to stores and restaurants, for sure, but in public can get away without it. And I live in liberal San Jose.

In California, when you get your license, they register you to vote. I just went on Tuesday to get my real id and they handed me a new voter registration as well. I never asked anything about voting.
