Joe Rogan was very disrespectful, I thought. Why would you bring your "friend" on the podcast and let him get blasted while you remain sober, and then try to trip him up with fact checks that were basically just quick internet searches for the "facts"? Not a very good "friend" if you ask me.

It is mankind's natural inclination to take the path of least resistance. (If something isn't worth struggling for, it's likely not worth possessing, IMO.) Unfortunately, there are some older people who watch the mainstream media for their news, trusting them for decades, and are being unknowingly lied to. It's frustrating, their minds are hard to change.

My thoughts about Abraham Lincoln are that he was originally -a politician- saying what he needed to get elected and to appease those that needed to be pandered to. I think that he had a change of heart and a conviction grew during his tenure that caused him to follow his conscience and what his strengthening religious beliefs urged him to do. I'm sure that there's more to it than what I know as well.
