The real question is this. If lawsuits are filed in multiple circuits and reach the SCOTUS and the vote is tied, what happens then if the various appeals courts have ruled in differing ways?
Let’s say the issue being contested is mail-in votes being counted that arrived after Election Day. Now let’s say the 1st circuit rules that they don’t count, but the 9th circuit rules they must be counted, both of those rulings can’t stand on the Federal level. This is the entire reason for the Supreme Court’s existence. We have to assume that the verdict in these cases would cause a change in the outcome of either the Presidential race, or Congressional races, otherwise there would be no reason to file suit.
We are barreling towards a Constitutional crisis, the likes of which this country hasn’t seen since the Civil War. Be ready, the fight won’t end on Election Day, it will only begin in earnest.

Once you stack the court the SCOTUS becomes all but irrelevant. In 30 years we will have 450 justices.
I just don’t see how this stands up in court. If they start finding ballots days after the election then it’s time to start finding uhaul trucks of our own. What’s to stop both sides from continuing to find votes for months? What is the cut off?
This is 100% about tying up the election in the courts because the swamp knows they can drudge up enough “dirt” on enough judges to win.

My understanding is that if there is a 4-4 tie on the SCOTUS that the ruling of the lower court stands. That is an impossible scenario for us to withstand. The Dems will strategically work cases through courts that they know will rule in their favor and bank on the fact that Roberts will vote their way and create a tie.
Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh can all stand tall and Roberts can still create a clusterfuck.
If the US Senate doesn’t have the balls to ram through an appointee before the election then we need to get through November and turn 100% of our energy into defeating them. We will never prevail when our own side is full of cowards and traitors.
If Hillary was president the Dems would ram this through without hesitation. We will not take no for an answer. An 8 seat Supreme Court hearing cases on the election is a recipe for disaster, and every Republican knows this. If they refuse to confirm a new justice before then then they are aiding their demise.

The US government has the ability to see every email and text message, hear every phone call, monitor the movements of everyone at any time, and "contact trace" the citizenry, that is just what they admit.
