While the CC may be riddled with hypocrites (at the present time), that does not change the fact that She is the one true Church founded by OL Jesus Christ. Heroic virtue, sanctity, and holiness are only found within Her. Saints Francis of Assisi, Thomas More, Thomas Becket, are just a small example. Outside of the CC you will find no such individuals, because by their fruits ye shall know them.
Jesus made it clear that He built a Church (for the salvation of men, of course). So which church is it? The only church that makes such a claim is the Catholic Church. Enter if you want to be saved. Remain outside and perish like the unbelievers in the deluge.
Orthodox church severed herself from the one true Church almost a millennia ago. Ergo, sacraments may still be there, but salvation is not. NO SALVATION OUTSIDE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
Jesus still told his followers to do as the Pharisees told them (recognition of their authority), but to not do as they do. For the Pharisees represented the true religion of the Old Law, hypocrites though they were. It’s the same today, the true and ONLY Church founded by OL Jesus Christ is the Catholic Church which unfortunately is governed by a corrupt episcopate for the most part. The only thing you will accomplish by severing yourself from the one, true Church is eternal damnation.

As a life long Catholic I knew she would betray. Why? Because she betrayed her faith when pressed by Feinstein: “The dogma lives loudly within you.” Coney replies, “My faith will have no bearing on how I rule.” EXACT OPPOSITE of St. Thomas More who preferred to lose his head rather than deny his Catholic Faith (the ONLY Church founded by Christ).
