Happened to me with my daughter 35 years ago. We both nearly died because the bustling staff of the military hospital in Frankfurt, Germany was too busy, indifferent and/or callous. They ignored my screaming and demanded I be quiet and not scare the other moms in delivery.😠 After a grueling, non-productive 12 hours of intense pain, finally a doc I'd never met before decided the baby wasn't going to survive without a C-section. She STILL almost died. After that? No way was I opting for a "trial by labor," with my son! There's a reason one third of childbirths used to be fatal for mom and baby. I'm definitely a fan of C-sections, especially planned ones!😊
