Hey folks, I used to work for coke over a decade ago. It was not nearly the raging shithole that it is now. And most of the folks in the atlanta office seemed pretty based.
Most 2 liter bottles of store brand soda cost between $.68 - $.88. the lowest you'll ever find coke products in a 2L is $1.00, and everyday price ranges from $1.50 - $2.00 depending on the chain. Store brand cola usually tastes pretty shitty, but ginger ale, root beer and orange/grape all taste pretty close to coke and pepsi offerings.
Also, coke and pepsi own almost all of the brands that you'll see in the soda aisle and a big chunk of the brands in the other soft drink aisles. Whenever an independent brand gets too big and threatens to take their space at retailers coke and pepsi buy them (gatorade, vitamin water etc.).
