I keep hearing this "second wave" bullshit. The first "wave" was widespread outbreaks in Europe. Sometime there, it mutated and butt fucked everyone into oblivion.

The second "wave" was it being brought home to the United States by returning soldiers. It hit scale quickly in densely packed eastern states, but was mostly over there by December. Spread more slowly in less densely populated western States, but was almost entirely gone there by the spring.

The third "wave" was in more remote places like Australia, plus there were occasional regional flair ups. But those quickly flared the fuck back down because that's how herd immunity works.

But the way these cocksuckers would have you believe it, the virus hits your town hard and then because you're not wearing a bandana, it comes back and hits your town even harder. Which is complete bullshit. The virus is going to do it's thing.

Might as well use this opportunity to take down the biggest liberal icon of the 20th century.

This has confused me from early on. I get it - this virus kills the frail, elderly and obese at relatively high rates. But I would have to think that having someone come into the ICU with a gunshot wound or a leg mangled in a car accident would be much more traumatic to see.
