Ours doesn’t in the primary, but the General is where it counts. Boost the weaker candidate in the primary to face the stronger candidate in the general.
Been doing it for years
We have always had open carry rights. Now we have the right to legally carry concealed. Both houses of legislature currently Republican. All constitutional officers EXCEPT Gov and LtGov are Republican. The previous Gov would probably have been re-elected had he not been such an asshat to teachers over pension funding.
I work in the school system. We have Sp Ed services all the way through grade 12. School systems vary from county to county. Some are outstanding, some are affected by the county poverty rate, and some are in the middle.
Land is comparatively cheap.
We have occasional floods and tornadoes. Not much else.
About every 10 years we get a hard winter. This year, Christmas Day was in the 60’s. You do need clothing for all 4 seasons (sometimes all in one day! You THINK I’m kidding...)
I have visited many places and had the opportunity to settle elsewhere. But there’s nowhere like Kentucky, for many, many reasons.
