From what I was reading there, she has been writing and speaking about healing from abuse for a long time. This isn't some random Balsy Ford coming out of the woodwork to accuse someone and then slithering back somewhere.
The fact that she has built her life around helping people heal from that kind of abuse is not something someone would do building upon a lie. I can't imagine a rational for doing so other that she did suffer abuse.

The very idea of a noose being something that warrants any kind of response is absolute tyranny and fascism. Even if it was real and someone did it to troll people, there is no reason for a response.

I can picture this commenter getting lined up in front of a wall and talking to the next person over about not interrupting the enemy because this is a huge mistake with terrible optics.
I understand the sentiment, but its wiser to correctly understand your enemies rather than dismiss them as dumb. GW for example, from accounts I read was actually extremely intelligent, and put on the hayseed act to play to bible belt demographics. I doubt any of the bad things he did were done out of stupidity, but were instead deliberate and probably achieved their intended goal.
