I had an argument and they're like this. The same people who don't volunteer or even clean up their parents house. They also think everyone should be Vegan ignoring the fact that "do anything they want" goes against restricting people's diet.

The Democratic Party never left. The big switch happened under LBJ. Instead of being overtly racist they went less overt. They also have black people and Minorities to be the token figurehead for their racism.
Let's look at the modern Democratic party platform:
- Segregation NOW
- Remove laws preventing discrimination
- Import slaves
- Do not "gentrify" (IE do not invest in poor areas)
- Remove school choice.
- Remove police from high crime areas.
- Increase burden on small businesses and especially on minority owned businesses.
- Take away guns
That is their platform and the same one they ran on before the civil war and after it.

Social nets are meant to catch people and help those really in need. Your case is different. The people who use it as a hammock after doing nothing to earn it.
People on benefits should be doing all they can to get off, if able to, and do volunteer or other work (if they're able to). In fact it should be required. If they did that then poor neighborhoods would be the nicest and cleanest in the US.

The Democratic party was so worried about Bernie they elected Biden. They didn't realize how fast his mental decline would be. They probably forgot about all his skeletons and thought some of it was fake, most is not.
Now they cannot turn back. If he steps down for mental health or they forced someone else it would turn off enough supporters to guarantee a loss. So they have to run with a bad candidate that is getting worst.
Another major issue is the left never distanced themselves from the far left. I was saying online it was a mistake. Guess I was right. The left needs the far left votes, but the far left pushes moderates and everyone else away. So the Democratic party has to tip toe the line as well.
That is only something you can do for so long, so they're faltering. That's why you see them losing support among Moderates .
They pick Harris, but it isn't enough. It's too late. They still lost a lot of Moderates and now lost a lot of people on the far left. Which is why you see a rising number of people on the left afraid to talk about politics. Not because its not mainstream, but because they're probably going with Trump.
This is the biggest scam, the left, has pulled in modern history. They want to legalize discrimination and push desegregation. This is the same platform they used in the KKK days. The same they used in the 60s and 70s. This time they have more black people pushing it. However, they had black people pushing this alongside those in the South. Black Americans defended slavery, not all, but some.
Segregation leads to increased inequality and racism. In college this is even more dangerous as this is an opportunity to be exposed to different people. Instead they will grow up more racist.
