worked construction to pay for college, my fam were total straight ticket democrats so consequently I was as well. The propaganda from my house was that Rush was a racist idiot basically...anyways, we didn't have money for college so I go and work construction and in construction, somebody always has Rush playing...Rush and Bob Segar, its a guarantee one of those two are on. So I start listening to Rush and immediately I can tell Ive been lied to, he obviously wasn't dumb, he wasn't racist, he actually seemed way smarter than the people who told me he was dumb so that was my first red pill...led me straight to Ron Paul and then to thedonald reddit and now here. Working construction during college the guy who I worked for played him everyday. I was from a dem family and only heard he was racist, ignorant, etc...I wasn't going to complain to my boss to change it so I listened everyday and though "this shit actually makes a lot of sense and isn't racist/ignorant at all, in fact this motherfucker is pretty damn smart!"
