When a group insists on cheating, then they forfeit the benefits of being in the system. That's the social contract we share in civil self-determined representative government. You play by the rules, you get the benefits that come with the system. You also agree to accept the consequences when you break the rules.
We need to take them to the woodshed. Otherwise we're just rewarding and tolerating bad behaviors.
