Just because powerful corporations want the law broken and constitution torn up doesn't mean it should happen.
Its that simple. Follow the law, follow the constitution, and acknowledge Donald Trumps legally won second term.
They know its over for them if he legally wins, he knows its over for US and him if they illegally win. Knowing those stakes, no moves by either side will surprise me. Obviously protecting the citizens, and the constitution is the right side - magnified by the fact that Trump was in fact the duly elected victor.
The President of the United States is demanding that a corrupt SoS of a state (in this case Georgia) following his oath to the constitution and ensure that only legal votes are counted in certifying the states electoral votes. He does not want to see the sate fraudulently certify to Sleazy Joe, a man who lost the election, as that would be illegitimate and illegal.

Frankly I don't care because I heard the President tell someone in a powerful position who is acting illegally, that said person needs to stop acting illegally.

His interview with Bobby was ON the record, and recorded months before it was released. His statement about not wanting a panic was similar to one he made at the same time PUBLICLY.
The only reason it looks bad is the corporate press acted like it was a secret statement and that it was a new sentiment that Trump kept from people. Which is impossible, because by saying it to Bobby on the record - that means it could/would go public anytime, and - once again - he already expressed such in his China virus task force pressers.
The problem is the Dems and Republicans already know it exists and happened. They listen to their financial employers (corporations, banks, dark money, foreign government) and not their actual bosses (the American people).
In fairness Hollywood films ARE china films. They forced the change in the Red Dawn remake from china to North Korea, they changed the famous jacket in Top Gun to remove the Taiwan flag, they made cinema history villain have character tout china as a future global superpower in Looper. etc. etc. etc.
