Read about Bliss Point. Nothing is wrong with them. In normal circumstances they’d be trim. We live in food waste, where food is engineered not to satiate & instead to addict and provide bottomless bliss for profit. Just look at Chipotle’s share price.

The articles have citations genius… you can find all the information on pubmed yourself, too… pubmed is full of good science and total garbage. You can also go look up the Rice Diet. What you accomplish on any weight loss plan, high carb, low carb etc is fat loss, which leaves the body as CO2. You can gain weight eating the same weight loss diets in excess. A vo2 max machine shows how much fat vs carbs you metabolize. Half our calories at rest are fat. Calories in motion are carbs. See ray cornise for the full data in pubmed on oxidative priority. To lose FAT you have to metabolize MORE fat than you CONSUME. Simple as that… isotopic tracer studies with labeled sugars show almost NO conversion to body fat… it’s the fat…

I get it from journals, conferences, colleagues and in practice. You seem to get yours from old wives tales & no amount of evidence can convince you… 90% of calories in Asian diets have been rice. We have dietary guides of pre war Japan, China and more. Mostly carbs…. https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/food-matters/how-the-japanese-diet-became-the-japanese-diet/ These are just easy to digest consumer friendly compilations… you could watch my videos, too, but I don’t self promote here.

Except the Chinese and all white rice eating populations are slim & trim. The NIH under Kevin Hall destroyed the carb insulin hypothesis. It was so devastating and embarrassing to many involved careers were ended. https://www.wired.com/story/how-a-dollar40-million-nutrition-science-crusade-fell-apart/

They made people more obese. Each set of regulations is perverted by industry, lobbiests & public health and people are worse. Gov needs to stay out of it

Professional health coach here & weight loss expert. Slow and steady is right or you risk losing your gallbladder. Look up Volumetrics. It’s a great way to never feel deprived:hungry and keep calories in check. Most importantly, long term weight loss has zero to do with the food. Food is one method of self regulation. You are abusing it for lack of other practices. Focus on the infinite positive methods to self regulate. Mindfulness, meditation, etc, as you practice these they will become on par with food and your personal improvements will reinforce your choices and lessen the reliance on overconsumption of food for regulation

It’s like saying the MLB rules have nothing in them about being played on the moon, with no mention of gravitation rates… because it’s obvious…. You only have to state the obvious to morons who would need more paper than there are trees to cover their stupidity

Keep him away from dairy products. A significant % test + for bovine tuberculosis, which can survive pasteurization and infect the population, which also test + for the antibodies. Our immune response is robust to it, but it is very similar to our pancreatic beta cells and our own immune system can end up wiping them out causing type 1 diabetes even in adults. Search pubmed you find everything I am saying is true. Also look at bovine TB vaccines being tested for halting it
