Bill Maher, while very much a liberal, wages a war on political correctness, he tends to touch on echo chambers and them being bad. He also understands, or at least pretends to, the importance of people having their own unique ideas.
He comes out with gold nuggets here and there and I have to remind my husband that Maher hasn't changed his tune....he just doesn't always toe the liberal line.
I tend to agree. I am hearing that they canceled advertising to Blaze or something because a dude from there tweeted a picture of Kyle wearing a BRCC shirt. 🤷♀️ my guess is if the statement is just the statement cool. I think maybe canceling thr advertising for the tweet is another thing.
Trump's team has been very careful about naming people outright unless there is publicly available receipts to back it up.
I thought it was very telling when Giuliani very purposefully made it clear he wasn't sure what Biden knows, if anything...then made it clear he wasn't being cute. They are purposefully walking right to the edge of the line. I don't see them doing that without enough to truth cannon everyone.
Let's take Trump has been planting the seeds for tears out of the equation.
I approached this as follows. Wow, it is weird that the Republicans closed in on the gap in the House, looks to retain the Senate, flipped a Governor, flipped State legislatures....but still elected a Democrat as a President. Either people are too stupid to realize that the legislative branch being that close isn't ideal because not always do people follow party lines. Why did it flip "down ballot ? That is what I keep going back to. I've been around this world long enough to know that typically President election years things tend to go with one party and mid terms things change.
Second, depending on how old you are....how many times have you seen them say...Oh! We are done counting for the night, we will get back at it again tomorrow.
Just ask yourself, is it possible.
Also, ask yourself is it possible that the media is complicit in suggesting to people what to think. Is it possible that your opinion of Trump isn't necessarily something you came up with on your own. Many talking heads on repeat, celebrities, politicians, etc. How often do you do independent fact checking, not just what is spoon fed to you. It is a hard cycle to break, I broke out of it 5 years ago because I had something just not make sense to me and I started digging and haven't stopped since. I use MSM as a place to start, hear them and then go find for myself to decide what I think k without things taken out of context of bias added in.
Ducey has been pretty vocal about not shutting AZ back down. He pushes masks, but does not want to do a statewide mandate, distancing and washing hands.
Given that he is in his last term, I'm kind of surprised he isn't going all out for Trump. It felt like he was starting to go a bit Trump Lite on reporters earlier this year.
My verdict is still out on him.
I think sometimes we forget that sometimes people can't get from A to B because there is a lot of programming going on to reorder the alphabet. So, my thought is...if we ask them is it possible it happened to your guy and use that opening to start feeding them the truth....then maybe it will break the cognitive dissonance.
My initial things aren't right was WMD's. I pushed it down, then Ferguson happened and the lack of objectivity by the media got to me. I came across an article written about a black cop shooting a white kid that had a Hoodie on with ear phones in so he couldn't hear...hands in pocket, nothing going on but the kid was killed. The MSM said crap about it. That was my moment.
Anyway, trying the theory with my eldest step kid. Hard-core Bernie guy. We will see how it goes.
His tie knot is wayyy too small for his Neck and head. It is quite comical.
