I agree, but the problem isn’t women, it’s femininity. Because the female urge is to be nurturing, caring for the weak, yada yada. Plenty of guys buy into that too, and plenty of women who don’t.
But you’re right that universal suffrage is pretty much the root of all the problems of modern western civilisation. I honestly think that only net taxpayers should get to vote, not recipients. But I know the chance of that ever happening is literally zero.

Yep, that’s what blows my mind the most - how many people have just swallowed the lie whole, without any questioning at all. It’s horrifying. I think it’s more persuasive to talk about freedom vs slavery. Because “slavery” is so emotive and so triggering, if you frame “social democracy” as not being able to keep the fruits of your labour and therefore equal to slavery, it’s harder for them to defend it. Plus I always say I will fight to the death for their right to live their life however they choose to, even if I disagree with it. Go ahead and set up your socialist paradise, let everyone join who chooses to and let those who don’t want it live their own lives. It’s always about *freedom, imo. Defending freedom and condemning slavery is a much easier sell than defending “capitalism”.
