I didn't vote Republican prior to trump... and I probably won't again... maybe if this new party thing actually happens or if the Republicans actually become a working class party...
IF, and its a big IF, the military takes over... my guess is that they will hold a new election... 2020 would be considered invalid, and we will redo....

However, I do honestly believe that Trump is done.... if the do the election over again, Trump won't run.
A extremely liberal family member, who is in her early 20s, was complaining that Biden is just like Bush Jr in foreign policy.... that she basically voted for Bush jr....

My assumption is that it would be a military junta style government... no civilian control. This would be after Trump (and his admin) leave tomorrow.
Once a new election takes place, then we would have a civilian government again.
I'd tell them that you are not publically political and that if they have a problem with that then they can take a hike. It is nice to have things and creators you like who aren't political.
You are in a lose/lose situation unfortunately. If you like your channel, then keep doing what you have been doing. You'll only loose a couple people by remaining publically neutral, and will probably gain more patrons in the future as your channel grows.
If you want to do politics then that is your choice, its always good to have more conservative viewpoints out there. But I would be prepared to loose everything (as it relates to YT and tech companies) if you so choose to go down that road.
Remember our roots, but let's plan for the future.
Trump isn't going to win us future elections... that is up to us. Let's start with local and state, then federal.... then the world.
