Unpopular Opinion: I keep thinking Pence may actually be a patriot behind enemy lines. Yes, he helped the steal, but now he's shielding Trump as the ultimate insider. If the steal was supposed to go through (in order to incriminate them) Pence has kept himself neutral and beyond reproach. If he was Deep State, he would invoke the 25th immediately and seal the deal, yet he is defending Trump and blocking Nancy's efforts. Pence now seems to be working to keep Trump safe.

Yes, it retains anonymity. The system can be configured to validate the voter rolls - One Person, One Vote - Only real, living and verified people can get on the blockchain, then once they get a ballot paper, they are marked as having voted, but who they vote for is not recorded.
The patent details a system that has Voter ID built in. If you want a regular paper based vote, when a person registers to vote, they are automatically checked with FBI, DMV, Social Security etc to ensure they're a real person, then added to the blockchain. When they vote in person, they are marked as having voted on the blockchain. If they vote by mail, their ballot has a QR code that is scanned on receipt which crosses them off the ballot. I think this is much better than most people realise. The goal is to Unleash the Fury when it does maximum damage to the Dems during the election, but at the same time ensuring Trump is isolated and can't be accused of being behind it.
