The graphic seems to be mis-stating the infection fatality ratio as infection fatality rate, which is why its math isn't adding up. The numbers appear to be from the CDC's best guesstimate, "Scenario 5," updated on September 10.
So that center column should be "Infection Fatality Ratio:"
1:0.00003 (1 infection to every 0.00003 deaths)
1:0.0002
1:0.005
1:0.054
Then the survival rates stated are accurate to the Scenario 5 numbers.
I hope I'm wrong, but this could be a sign of massive voter fraud and we'll need yuge turnout on Tuesday to counteract it. The Democrats have pulled out all the stops this year. It's no longer a little fraud here, a little fraud there, a few dead voters, and a trunkful of found ballots.
If the left loses this election, they'll have lost a century worth of preparation toward the destruction of America. They're going to do anything and everything to prevent that.
The media will refuse to report on the fraud (just look what they did with the Hunter information). Social media is already actively suppressing reports of voter fraud and has signaled that they'll keep it up as long as necessary to get the results they want.
In a fair, honest election, Trump would win in an absolute landslide, but I have a feeling we won't see that reflected in these election results. We're going to see unprecedented lying, cheating, and stealing by the left, and we're going to need every possible Trump vote we can get in order to counteract that.
At the top of the 2nd hour he noted that he wasn't feeling well and that as soon as they had the Mega MAGA Radio Rally queued up to play, he'd be leaving for the day and be back on Monday if possible.
He then proceeded to take calls for about 10 minutes and then the rest of his show was a re-broadcast of the Trump Radio Rally.
If I read the Twitter Safety messages about this correctly, their explanation basically boils down to:
"We are unbanning the New York Post, because we successfully suppressed their speech for as long as it was politically-advantageous for us to do so. Given the lawsuits the NYP was undoubtedly preparing, we determined they would literally own us by the end of the year if we persisted in silencing them, but we need to continue censoring as much information as possible, as quickly as possible, and for as long as possible to help our side without interference from new ownership. Therefore it was necessary to restore the NYP's account."
That's great!
I'm no spiritual paragon myself, but if it's been awhile (or never) since you read the Bible, I recommend spending time with it first and foremost. If you haven't read it much, the gospels are going to be a good place to start + Acts & Romans as the basics. Some of the resources others have already linked are great for a biblical introduction.
The point there is that having a basic grounding in the Bible, particularly the New Testament, is essential to choosing a church that's the right fit for you. If a church starts shoving clearly unbiblical stuff at you (particularly modern works of literature) and treating it as if it's biblical (or "just as good") it's a good sign that it's the wrong church. (I'm not calling out any one church here...I'm aware of & have even attended services at a few like this.)
The second thing to remember is that all churches are run by people. People are falliable and influenced by any number of things. For example, the Nazarene denomination is a against the consumption of alcohol, something rooted not in biblical teachings, but in its founders' histories. That doesn't make it a bad church. At the risk of making some people upset, every church has something like that. It's good to recognize those things and accept them for what they are. You don't have to agree with all the trappings.
Third, you want to find a place that has a good, supportive community. There are lots of great churches out there, but some just might not be the right fit. A church that has extra activities can also be great if you really want to get involved in the community--men's groups, women's groups, groups by age are all nice to have and help support you through life's challenges. As cyloneyes suggested, if you have friends who already attend church, asking to attend with them could go a long way toward easing any anxiety about going.
And finally, don't be afraid to church shop. It can be intimidating to do if you're on your own, but can also be a great experience. Many churches, even small ones, will offer a "mentor" for you to attend with if you don't know anyone there and contact them ahead of time to ask. Equally, many churches (especially small ones) have a tight community already and aren't terribly welcoming to outsiders. That can feel downright uncomfortable. Long story short, I'd call ahead of attending.
If you don't have any friends who attend a church and you don't want the potential discomfort of church shopping, another way to check out a church without attending services is to be on the lookout for public events--concerts, plays, musicals, bake sales, community cleanups, soup kitchens, what have you. Attending those kinds of events can give you a good feel for what the church community is like and help you get to know the people without the stress or anxiety of jumping right into a service.
I hope at least some of this helps you out. Best wishes and God bless!
I agree, the caller was not making a worthwhile point.
My favorite younger conservative on the radio is Buck Sexton. He's the only relatively young national radio host I've heard who's anywhere close to being in the same league as Rush.
If you haven't listened to him, I suggest giving his show a try. His shows are also available as podcasts if you're into that kind of thing.
I have a similar list for voter qualifications.
No vote if on welfare, or have been w/in the previous 12 months
All US citizens who are not on welfare and who are over the age of 26 can vote if they meet either one of these qualifications:
Land owner. ("Land owner" needs definition, or leftists are going to start selling real estate by the square inch. Actually, they're leftists. They'll sell it by the square centimeter.)
Former military. People who have been honorably discharged or medically separated from the military can vote, property owner or not, and regardless of age.
I've meant to do it for years, since most of my life I've either been in school or at work while his program is on and only been able to catch snippets despite being a Rush baby. I finally did the right thing and signed up for Rush 24/7 + The Limbaugh Letter the day before he held the Trump rally. God bless Rush Limbaugh, a national treasure.
Probably the most common thing is to simply plug the username into a search engine and go through the results until something personally-identifiable comes up. Most people (in my experience) reuse the same, or largely similar, screen names across multiple websites.
Second guess would be a common email address between that site and one with personally-identifiable information (or worse an email address that has your name in it).
And lastly, having posted something identifiable. Could even be something seemingly innocuous. "I bought this gear on Amazon back in May and thought it was really great. Probably the best." :Leftist basement dweller with too much time on his hands between riots heads over to Amazon & looks for good reviews of that product posted in May & compares language to things you've said: Doxxed.
Seems this headline is worth someone meme-ing for the Democrats to share with their friend.
"Rayciss conservatives at TGP pounce on the rayciss angle with 'dark' turn rather than focusing on the Bidens' beautiful sex-positivity with children"
This is just to help the postal workers (whose union endorsed Creepy, Sleepy Joe).
If a ballot comes from a house with an American flag on it: Throw it in the ditch. It's definitely a Trump vote.
If a ballot comes soaked in hand sanitizer: Deliver it along with several dozen copies. It's definitely a Biden vote.
It can't be anything but a landslide. However, we're going to be competing against an unprecedented amount of voting fraud and deliberate chaos. We have to counter that by voting in absolutely overwhelming numbers.
The postal workers' union has announced their support for Biden. If you have a Trump sign or an American flag displayed and play the mail-in game? Your ballot will never make it to the election office, or it'll be altered on the way. Have a Biden sign in the yard? That thing's gonna make it to the election office same day and with a dozen extra copies just to make sure.
Some states have said they're going to count ballots of people who are known to have died before election day. Every obituary you see between now and the election is another vote for Biden.
I agree on so many points here. Complacency over the next month will wreck us and therefore this country.
Active things to do: Get yourself to the polls. Get your MAGA family to the polls. Get your MAGA friends to the polls. Knock on doors. Volunteer to make calls. If you live in a "safe" state (never consider your state a safe state), volunteer to make calls in swing states. Volunteer at polling places. Volunteer as a voting/counting observer. If you see something shady happening with ballots, report it to your elections office and your local Republican committee.
Passive things to do: Get Trump/Republican signs & flags up. Wear Trump/Republican gear (where appropriate). Display the American flag wherever you can, particularly at or near polling places where you can't have political gear. Just the sight of the American flag can have the effect of making people feel more patriotic and therefore more likely to vote Republican. If you can, get American flags placed IN the polling locations around you.
Internet things to do: Shoot down lies & propaganda at every opportunity. Share real news. If you absolutely must post something from a leftist media website, use archive.is to do it. If you still use social media, post redpills there. Have chats with friends, family, neighbors or co-workers? Share pictures and articles there too. Afraid you might offend a leftist? Talk about Trump more neutrally. Share info about Biden's insane statements & positions. Even if you can't flip a vote, you might be able to dampen a Biden voter's enthusiasm. Every little bit helps.
We are working to save this nation and its founding principles. No effort is too much with that goal in mind.
Optics ARE important. Sadly, a lot of people have the attention span and political depth of a gnat. So gauging situations carefully and knowing what or what not to say or do is important. "Heels Up Harris" might be fun for making memes for pedes, but probably not the best icebreaker for casual conversation around the watercooler.
That said, I have to disagree on some more minor points.
DON'T: Play into the leftist propaganda by wearing a muzzle if you're not absolutely required to by the situation.
If you're sick, legitimately at-risk and believe it will help, required by your job, entering a medical environment, or something like that, sure. Wear the stupid mask.
Outside of those situations? Be proud, strong, set an example. Don't give into the mob. You'll be amazed how many "followers" there are who will see your happy, diaper-free face and realize they can and should enjoy the same freedom.
If you're directly told by an authority you must mask up and you can complete your business elsewhere, politely thank the Karen-enforcer and leave. Don't argue or make a scene that could end up on social media. Making a scene is for immature leftists who freak out when they see an unmasked red-blooded American.
DON'T: Give into the propaganda that China Virus is particularly dangerous.
Know your stuff. Have facts, anecdotes, information, and legitimate (reasonably mainstream) sources handy. Point out the left's hypocrisy on the issue. Don't make a fool out of yourself by going into "battle" unarmed. Stay calm and let the facts do the talking.
We can't make headway with people if we're conceding to the left by giving up our rights unnecessarily. And we certainly can't make headway if we don't combat misinformation when we can.
Don't be an ass. Always remain the polite, calm, controlled, rational individual. Behaving like a spoiled child is for leftists.
I don't know what it is with leftist women.
That awful, quavery voice they do. The one that in not-Clown World tells you a woman is either seconds away from crying or screaming, and you have no idea which.
"Knees" Harris and Fauxcahontas use it all the time. She was affecting that horrible voice for the entire debate and it was driving me mad.
I can only agree to an extent. He shouldn't look like he's beating up on a senile old man, any more than Pence looked like he was beating up a whore tonight. But that's as far as it should go.
Trump has to be Trump. He's at his best when he's not toning that down too much. It's why Americans love him.
I was for Rand during the primary, but as soon as Trump became the nominee, there was only ONE choice in the general: Donald Trump. Sure I was wary at first, but obvious choice was obvious. You don't even have to be a pragmatist to know that the right thing to do is to vote for the guy who can defeat Satan incarnate.
Beck failed that very basic reasoning test and actively used his platform to encourage people not to vote for Trump, which in 2016 was as good as telling people to vote for Satan. Then he followed up over the next couple years by actively undermining all the great stuff Trump was doing. I had the misfortune of hearing his show periodically during my commute, and he even had BLM activists on that he was slavering over in his quest to "reach across the aisle." Disgusting. Beck is not to be trusted.
Now he's bandwagoning. Welcome aboard the Trump Train, Beck. But I will never trust you.
That'll certainly be the media's take all day tomorrow.
Joe didn't fall asleep in his jello! What an incandescent performance! Brilliant! I haven't seen a master debater of this skill since I watched 0bama and felt a trickle down my leg!
I have to disagree.
1 - We have a Constitution that would serve us well if followed. 1a - It's not 100% perfect, but largely so. Some amendments need to be tossed or revised, for example the 16th & 17th. 2 - Leftists don't follow the Constitution. 2a - If they did, we wouldn't have many of these problems 3 - Look at the makeup of the House & Senate. While a constitutional convention would not necessarily be made up of those particular individuals, it'd be chock full of similar types. Do you really want them screwing around with the Constitution? 4 - I know convention supporters don't like it when people say it, but a runaway convention is not just plausible, but likely. Leftists would be a huge part of it, and you've seen how good leftists are at staying within the set rules.
A Constitutional Convention could be a good thing to shore up some of the important issues at some point. But only after leftists have been defeated and their garbage philosophy kicked to the curb. Fix the the problem (leftists). Then go about making adjustments so the problem won't reoccur (Constitutional adjustments).
Between Biden and Pelosi, if we assume they are losing their mental acuity and letting the cat out of the bag with Freudian slips, this is some pretty blatant admission of the election fraud they've got in the works.
Biden (10/24 podcast): Secondly, we’re in a situation where we have put together — and you’d [sic] guys, did it for our, the president Obama’s administration, before this — we have put together, I think, the most extensive and and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.
Pelosi (10/29 press conference): "I feel very confident that Joe Biden will be elected President on Tuesday. Whatever the end count is on the election that occurs on Tuesday, he will be elected, on January 20th he will be inaugurated President."
Biden (10/31 speech): “Folks, we got a lot of work to do. I don’t need you to get me elected, I need you once I’m elected.”
He has the largest voter fraud apparatus in history. No matter what the end count is, he will be inaugurated. He doesn't need voters to get elected.
We need to make sure to vote in such overwhelming numbers, we can counteract all the fraud, lies, distortion and deception the left/media has in store for us over the next few days.
