That's why the law is overbroad and arbitrary, and the retaliatory enforcement is unjustified.

The real claim here is property rights and due process rights. "Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness" is a set of essential ideals but the right to property is the technical one here.

Their property rights were arbitrarily violated by a retaliatory government that issued and enforced unjustified and overbroad regulations and deprived them of their property interest in their business.

If Walmart and bars can be open there is no reason gyms, have to be closed.

They'll win this but it's going to take a while.

They're arguing in favor of setting precedent that will wreck EVERY SINGLE innocence project overturned conviction and will allow anyone to intervene in a criminal proceeding without anything but anecdotal or political evidence.

Just to get Trump and by Trump I mean US.

Sure but these are attorneys and judges. The canons require fairness and impartiality, that is drilled into their heads. Mr Wall caught himself. Lol.

Is this judge at the grocery store? Or at the car wash?

It's appearance of PARTIALITY that is problematic, not appearance of impartiality. Impartial means there is no bias. Why is everyone getting that wrong?

It's embarrassing. You can really tell who knows their stuff and sadly this guy is out of his league.

the only "what if" I don't see is, "What if people rely on the panel's decision to insert themselves in every criminal court case?"

Diversity hire judge's "story" relies on material evidence showing criminal behavior. There's none of that in Flynn's case.

Les Lester?

Also, too many people on that ballot. She'll win. Name recognition. People either will vote for her or against her, and the ones who vote against won't pick the same opponent.

Hope I'm totally wrong.

Exactly. It's not my voice. Hell, most of that shit has nothing to do with me because the people who put it out there are too young to have any idea of what it is to really struggle. Or they are 60s radical burnouts who have been saying the same tired ass things.

Yeah I don't recommend reading them. People aren't able to listen to and hear the blatant inconsistency in her testimony. She says they weren't surveiling the campaign but then says they surveilled Page because he had worked for the campaign and they believed the campaign was on the take from Russia ... They weren't surveiling him for any reason other than his work for the campaign which IS surveiling the campaign. It's crazy.

This is the truth that the black community needs to face. Everyone has that cousin or aunt or uncle and acting like they don't exist will never solve the problem.

That's the thing, it's not "one culture" like the media and activists want people to believe. It's a skin color. Some are driven by the identity of skin color, the ones who aren't are the self thinkers who see that identity as a back seat issue.
