I grew up doing cross country road trips and my Dad would always have Rush on. It was boring as a kid but it sure did help mold me into a staunch conservative in my formative years.
I don’t often pray; I’m praying for Rush Limbaugh today.
Yes. It’s also worth noting that the Ukranian story arc took place well before the impeachment inquiry. The Ukranian character was a recurring one on the show for several seasons. There’s much more like it in the show, leading me to believe that the writers had some well connected insider consultants.
Like I said, independent of that, it’s an absolutely hilarious show if you’re into politics and some of the insults and humor in that show are some of the most clever I have ever seen.
It’s actually a good show, funny and entertaining. They never explicitly state which party each politician belongs to. In the last season (2017ish), Selena Meyer (the “Veep” running for President) is taking tens of millions in illegal bribes from a Ukranian oligarch, and promising all sorts of things to the Chinese President in exchange for election interference and millions in donations to her family foundation. She’s also a power hungry sociopath with no regard for anyone but her own ambitions, although it’s presented in a sardonic, comedic way.
