Touchdown of the bastard was only a few blocks from my house. City messed up pretty bad. Still 43,000 or so without power down from 48,000 overnight.
Our first responders are working 12hr shifts 7 days/week until further notice. Any means to get them supplies, grab and go food/drink appreciated. Though I can’t stand the usual soy moaning in the sub, /r/nashville has good sticky if you want more general info. Below are some relevant how to help excerpts.
LOOKING FORWARD TO GEOTUS VISIT FRIDAY.
How to Help Your Neighbors
-
Please stay off the roads unless you MUST go somewhere. Power lines are down. There is significant debris in the damaged areas and you may risk popping your tires. Don't drive through impacted neighborhoods. You will slow down the recovery and clean up efforts and cause unnecessary traffic. Stay. Home.

Nail polish my man. Did that myself but the HKs were the inspiration.
